Since you asked for this list to run them through your Primary Care Physician (PCP), we want to educate you on a few points!

1 – Your PCP is probably great at annual checkups and cholesterol, but likely has minimal or no training in hormones (that’s why we’re here)! This means they have probably never ordered these specific advanced labs and unfortunately, they make mistakes – this leads to you needing another blood draw, delays your care, and increases your costs.
2 – Your insurance company has always been happy to cover your cholesterol blood work, but they almost ALWAYS consider hormones to be “NOT medically necessary”, which is their way of saying they won’t pay!
