Skin correction plus collagen stimulation.
If you have been chasing fine lines and wrinkles, are on a hunt for a true solution for acne or surgical scars, or simply looking to improve your skin’s texture, tone, and color, the pursuit stops here.
Available only through medical professionals like Elevate MD, the new Eclipse MicroPen® EVO addresses all these concerns with an added powerful technology for collagen induction therapy.
This means you get the benefits of skin correction from the Eclipse MicroPen® EVO, plus collagen stimulation, at the same time and at the same appointment.
Clinically proven to be a safe, effective, affordable treatment with minimal downtime or discomfort, the MicroPen® EVO is known for beautiful, natural-looking results.
Eclipse MicroPen® EVO treats age spots, blackheads, hyper-pigmentation (melasma), acne spots and scars, fine lines and wrinkles, and improves the appearance of dull, “tired-looking” skin.
It can be used on the face, neck, décolleté’, arms, hands, legs, abdomen, and neck—the areas that often reveal the most tell-tale signs of aging and sun damage.
What conditions does it treat?
The Eclipse MicroPen® uses controlled and precise micro-injuries to the skin delivered by a high-speed automated needle to improve the skin’s tone, texture, and color. MicroPen® EVO treats fine lines & wrinkles, skin laxity, blackheads, hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, and traumatic scarring.
How does it work?
A sterile cartridge containing tiny micro-points is attached to the Eclipse MicroPen® EVO. Your skin care professional will apply sterile saline to your skin and select the appropriate pen position based on your individual needs. In a single motion, the pen will be gently pressed against the skin while simultaneously gliding in one direction until the entire treatment area has been covered. Many patients report that the feeling of the Eclipse MicroPen® EVO on their skin is like that of sandpaper being moved across the skin. While some areas of the skin are more sensitive than others, the speed of the reciprocating tip makes the treatment more comfortable. Because most micro-needling sessions only take about 15 to 30 minutes, any discomfort is temporary and is felt only during the procedure itself.
What happens after treatment?
The total healing time from an Eclipse MicroPen® EVO procedure depends on the pen position used and the number of overlapping passes your skincare professional performs. On average, patients experience redness for two to four days. Some patients heal completely within 24 hours. Most patients report noticing a redness to the skin following the procedure.
One of the most exciting perks of the Eclipse MicroPen® EVO is the immediate results patients experience. Patients can see a “glow” to their skin as soon as the procedure is finished, and visible changes to the skin develop over the course of several weeks. Results continue to improve up to six months after the treatment. Some patients only require a single treatment in one visit just once a year to achieve noticeable results. However, most dermatologists recommend that patients receive a series of two to three treatments spaced six to eight weeks apart for best results. For patients with significant skincare concerns, such as deep acne scars, it is recommended to receive six to eight sessions at six-week intervals. You can only receive Eclipse MicroPen® EVO treatments at a medical dermatologist’s office.
